These homeowners had recently had a baby and wanted to expand their living space for their growing family. These homeowners contacted us because they wanted to have a space they could use their workout equipment and add an area for their kids to play. Their basement was plumbed for a bathroom and had an egress window, and they also wanted to finish the bathroom, add a rec room, and add a bedroom. Their family was expanding, and they wanted to have the basement project finished before their baby was due in mid-April. They were looking for some help from a professional for some design ideas, so we set them up with a free estimate with one of our design specialists.  With our EverLast vinyl walls, we were able to transform their basement, and we had it finished by March. This left the family plenty of time to add the finishing touches to their basement before the baby came.

We have a small, older 1.5 story home (100+yrs old, approx 1300sqft) and are pondering making the basement more usable including adding a 1/2 or small full bathroom (only 1 full bath in the house as it is). While we are not sure if we will be staying in this house for much longer, we are not sure that we are intending to sell in the very near future either. Therefore, we would like to estimate re-doing the basement, which is completely unfinished, as it could improve our immediate living situation as well as increase the resale value of the house to get an idea if this is something we may want to pursue. The basement is certainly unfinished but it is also unique for the home style as it a walk out basement in the back of the house which could offer more potential.
