Don, the homeowner, is set on upgrading his attached two-car garage, envisioning a comprehensive transformation. The current state features trusses and studs, with no insulation or ceiling, except for the house-facing drywall/fireblock. Upon project completion, the plan includes the installation of a minisplit heating/cooling system, with a ceiling-mounted cassette indoor air handler to ensure optimal climate control. The garage, spanning 528 sq. ft., is fully finished.  With major electrical elements involved in the project, the focus shifted from a basement project to a garage transformation.
